We set out to produce a hybrid strain rich in CBD, and we certainly succeeded. First we crossed our Blue Medi Kush x Amnesiac x CBD Afghan, we then selected the most reliable and stable version of a CBD Afghan to back-cross with. This was used as a basis for stabilising her genetics over several generations, resulting in the CBD Medi Kush.
CBD Medi Kush has a very high CBD content (14%+). This hybrid strain has a medium to long flowering time. grows with a low, compact profile, it is great for SOG or SCROG and small spaces. Bred with medical users in mind, this is a popular strain for those who want to produce high quality flowers and extracts.
The buds are bulky and hard and have a typical kush odour, the taste is very earthy. The high is very comfortable and pleasurable and is accompanied by a mellow body stone. This plant delivers a pain relieving dose of CBD, without the racing thoughts or anxiety that one can experience from high THC, low CBD strains.

CBD Medi Kush was a somewhat fickle plant in our garden as she prefers lower temperatures. However, she adapted well. She produced large, dense, and frosty buds that carried a strong doughy smell until she cured. After a proper cure, her scent became a sweet floral aroma. It provides a very relaxing body high with a slight, but pleasant head change. 4 out of 5 stars.
CBD Medi Kush was my 1st try at growing cannabis for medicine. Outdoors in southern Oz. Our spring & summer have not been typical, in fact its been bloody weird. Anyway the two plants grew well. One much taller than the other. Experienced no problems. 16 weeks to harvest. As I have nothing to compare them to its hard to comment on size etc. I can say that yesterday was the 1st time I have been pain free in years. I felt invigorated and relaxed.
